Honestly no one can understand motherhood until they become a mother. Truly. Each of us understands someone from our own point of view. Yet until a person becomes a mother, there are only assumptions, and stories told, that bring us close to what motherhood  means.

My mother and I got along great until I was about 14, and then I found conflicts with her. In time I grew away from our closeness, while she just waited patiently for me. When I became a mother, she just smiled and knew that I now had more knowledge of what a mother should/could do. I had made full circle.

In the United States today we celebrate Mothers Day! Hugs all around!
